The waiter finally came back and took our dinner order. They remade my drink and the manager brought the drink to the table. Obviously it had been sitting on the bar waiting to be picked up. Once he brought the drink it was made incorrectly and was warm. He eluded that the bar was slow making our drinks. (This is now 30 minutes after we were seated before we were served water and incorrect drinks.) The original waiter came back to see how we were doing and finally brought water. Another 10 minutes went by and a manager walked by and when she saw us sitting there she motioned to the wait staff realizing something was amiss. After another 5-10 minutes a different waiter came to offer us water and we told him someone was already taking care of us. Once seated it took at least 10 minutes before a waiter came to the table to offer water options. The marble and stained glass decor is beautiful, but the poor. After some research of reviews I chose Eddie Merlot's, to my dismay. There are so many choices of amazing restaurants in Boston. My partner asked me to pick a restaurant for my birthday dinner.
